Things that Go Blur...

I have some strange fascination with pictures that are blurred. For one, it shows movement. Rather than a second frozen in time, with some imagination you feel almost as if you are there in that moment. Second, to me there are some "blurred" pictures that have a mysterious quality to them that keeps me there looking....

John Mayer..Up close and personal..

One time a few years ago, I acquired two second row tickets to see Dave Matthews. It was an experience I will never forget. From that spawned many other events witnessed within the first 5 rows. It is both surreal and humbling to be able to take in a concert up close and personal. I would not trade one minute of it.

Again, these were taken with the point and shoot I was talking about in the post below. The last is of my sometime photographic assistant Kara ( also the interior decorator extraordinaire) who is completely exhausted after the nights festivities.

I haven't had a digital point and shoot camera in a long while. Shooting with DSL had been my passion. However, at this event I really did not want to lug around a big camera. So, I went out and purchased a Samsung SL620 point and shoot (I am a Nikon fan so switching brands was a big deal for me!). Well, I must say that I was impressed..
